The Rescue Squad has the responsibility of keeping up with all Federal, State, and local laws, procedures, and policies that oversee the Emergency Medical Service. The Rescue Squad also has the duty to maintain the Ambulances and all other equipment used to protect the lives and property of the Flanders residents as well as those who live around our town. The Rescue Squad is also responsible for attaining the best possible equipment and the continuous training of our members – both for their safety and the safety of all whom we protect.

The current officers of the Rescue Squad are:

  • Captain – call sign "Rescue 80" Todd Summer
  • 1st Lieutenant – call sign "Rescue 81" Megan Pfefferkorn
  • 2nd Lieutenant – call sign "Rescue 82" Josh Heyman
  • 2nd Lieutenant – call sign "Rescue 83" Alec Staszak
